Directions

By Car (from Wareham)

  • Follow the A351 towards Swanage and Corfe Castle (for approx. 5 miles).
  • Enter Corfe Castle village and follow signs for the village centre.
  • The Bankes Arms is on your left, facing the village square,

By Train

  • Take a train to Wareham (Dorset) From Wareham station, catch the Purbeck Breezer 40 bus towards Swanage. Get off at “Village Centre, Corfe Castle” (about a 15-minute ride). The Bankes Arms is a 3-minute walk from this bus stop.
  • Taxis are available from Wareham station to Corfe Castle and the Bankes Arms. The journey is about 7 minutes.

By Car (from Poole/Bournemouth via Sandbanks Ferry)

  • Take the Sandbanks Ferry to Studland (the crossing runs approx. three times an hour, takes 5 minutes, and offers fabulous views).
  • Follow signs (via Studland and the B3351) to Corfe Castle.
  • Enter Corfe Castle village and follow signs for the village centre.
  • Thee Bankes Arms is on your left, facing the village square.

Parking

Our Private Car Park is located directly behind the Bankes Arms

As you arrive in the village, please turn at the traffic lights (sign posted to the station). Our guest car park is approximately 150 yards on your left.

Note: Please do not park at the Station. This is for patrons of the train only.
